Patrick Talbot

Patrick was born and raised in the New York City suburb of Cortlandt Manor, NY. After graduating from Hendrick Hudson High School in 2009, he moved to Buffalo to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Following Patrick’s graduation from the University at Buffalo in 2013, he spent a year in the work force before deciding to return to his alma mater for an M.B.A. Concentrating in Supply Chain & Operations Management, he is expected to graduate in May of 2016.

Some of Patrick’s hobbies include watching and playing sports, as well as working on classic cars. Also, he hopes to work in the field of aviation upon graduation, an industry Patrick has had a lifelong passion for.

Patrick’s initial draw to the SCOM Club was during his undergraduate years where he held the role of Vice President, Undergraduate Operations. Full-time work experience in Operations, coupled with a recent Materials Management internship at Moog, Inc. has put Patrick in the position to help bring success to other students. As a leader of the Supply Chain & Operations Management Club, and with the help of the remainder of the Executive Board, Patrick hopes to bring at least a small piece of the SCOM industry to UB’s doorstep.

Manmeeth Kharvel Annepu

Manmeeth is a second year MBA student concentrating in Supply Chain & Operations Management, he is very passionate about the supply chain side of the manufacturing industries. He is right now interning at Greenpac Mill- a paper industry, part of Purchasing team working on procuring raw materials, spare parts, sending out RFQ’s and finalizing suppliers, apart from regular Purchasing role he is an active member of cost avoidance team and helping the company to reach to the goal of saving $ 1.5 Mil this year. He is an active member of SCOM club and has helped organize the first ever SCOM club case competition in April 15.

Manmeeth is from India and has 3 years of Project Management experience prior to joining UB MBA. He did his undergrad in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India.

His hobbies include playing basketball, squash and cricket. He loves to learn new games ever couple of years.

As the COO of the club, he wants to bring more industrial exposure to the school of management that would help the students to be industry ready and with the help of the executive board he wants to give the best to the students with all the exciting events they have planned up for upcoming year.

Li-In Wang

Li-In Wang is from Taiwan, graduated from National Chung-Cheng University in 2009. Major in Accounting and Information Technology, also was a President in the department’s student association. Li-In previously worked as an auditor in Deloitte, where she was involved with evaluating business risk for clients and providing recommendations for them to improve financial situations and internal control procedures, especially in the field of inventory and revenue recognition. Then Li-In worked as a financial assistant manager in Yu-Guo Polywood, forecasting and analyzing the financial statement, and solving the accounting and tax problems. Now Li-In is doing internship in TCS as a Data Analyst and Operations, and pursing MBA with a concentration in supply chain and operations management. As a V.P of Marketing, her goal is to introduce and advertise SCOM Club to students who are interesting in SCOM. Also, she will leverage relationship to create more professional networking opportunities, and develop close relationship with School of Management, CRC, GPO, APICS, and related industries.

I am originally from Fairport Harbor, Ohio and attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio for undergrad. I received my Bachelors of Science in Education in 2013 majoring in Sports Industry and a minor in General Business. Prior to coming to UB, I spent time working for Ohio State Athletics in their Facilities Operations and Management Department. I assisted with the day to day building operations and event management. I also spent time interning with the Columbus Clippers Baseball Organization where I worked in various departments. Finally after graduating from Ohio State I spent time interning with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in Jacksonville, Florida where I worked in Tournament Operations. I am now in my second year of UB’s MBA program where I am concentrating in Operations and Supply Chain Management as well as Finance. As the V.P. of Finance my goal for SCOM is to help it grow and expand in any way possible.

Rohit Sallagundla is a second year MBA student concentrating in Supply Chain & Operations Management and Consulting. He completed his undergraduate degree in Engineering from VIT University, India and he has four years of work experience with a global IT company. Currently, he is working as Project Coordinator at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where he is involved in various supply chain projects developing RFPs, for capital purchases/services, to be analyzed, negotiated, and implemented in conjecture with the purchasing and legal departments. Rohit represented UB at various prestigious supply chain and strategy case competitions and even won the Whitman Case Competition – Syracuse University. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and he was a professional chess player. With his wide range of network and his unique experience in health care industry and Supply Chain, Rohit would be able to guide SCOM members in understanding and obtaining jobs in the industry and also build strategies for the development of SCOM club.

Keya is a second year MBA student concentrating in supply chain and operations Management.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from BITS, Pilani – Dubai. Upon graduation, she worked as a business analyst with an IT solutions provider and coordinated with the client to understand their business requirements and interpret them to the internal team.  Prior to UB, Keya worked as a senior business development executive for an Indian conglomerate and enjoyed the formidable challenge of convincing people to shift from conventional energy sources to solar power.  As VP Strategy/Event Planning, Keya will be able to leverage the learnings from her diverse work experiences and utilize her strong professional network to take the club to the next level.

Siddarth Prakash graduated from Anna University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has a 3-year full time experience with Amazon.com and his responsibilities as a Associate catalog involves root cause analysis and providing remedy to defects which affect The operational functionalities of Fulfillment centers, located in North America and Canada, within Service Level Agreement and ensure minimal Turnaround Time with 100% percent quality. Siddarth was also responsible for mentoring new hires, troubleshooting catalog errors and resolving product complaints raised by customers by working with the vendors, Fulfillment centers and internal teams. He has good customer-client relationships and has been recognized and rewarded for the same by his previous employer. Siddarth is currently pursuing Master’s in Science in Supply Chain and Operations Management. As VP of strategy he will be a acting liaison between the students and the club catering to the need. This ensures the growth of the club and betterment of the students joining the club.

Kyle attends the University at Buffalo as an undergraduate student graduating in 2016. He has a major in Business Administration concentrating in SCOM and two minors one in philosophy and one in sociology. His hometown is in Long Island and he is a big fan of soccer.

Kyle studied abroad in London, England and completed an internship at The Langham hotel as an intern in the purchasing department there. He shadowed the Purchasing Manager in all duties, assisted in daily operations and assisted with special projects. Over the recent summer he completed an internship with an international logistics company G4S based in England. He helped compile a master excel file to condense the various pricing fees essential to the functioning of the company.

Kyle looks to use his experience from his recent internships and courses to contribute to the club and also help others understand the industry better. As a V.P with the club he intends to bring in new members and help them learn more about the industry! For post graduate he plans to work and gain experience for a year or two and then complete an MBA.

Jimmy was raised in Ithaca, NY and attends the University at Buffalo as an Undergraduate Business Student concentrating in Supply Chain and Operations graduating in 2016. His hobbies include playing sports and traveling.

Jimmy studied abroad in the Spring of 2015 through the CAPA London Program and completed a Marketing Internship at LetMePlay. He is also interning with UB Athletics as an Event/Operations Intern. His duties include shadowing and assisting the Events manager as well as checking in all the student staff for Athletic Events. He is very involved on campus as a Global Ambassador promoting Study Abroad for UB, part of 4 intramural sports teams as well as being a former blogger for the UB Undergraduate Academies and a former Treasurer for Flint Hall Council.

Jimmy looks to use his experiences from his internships as well as his Undergraduate extracurricular roles to promote the UB SCOM among Undergraduate students. He hopes to bring awareness of the role SCOM plays in the business world and to use his different experiences to develop the club.
